Franschoek Afternoon

Went to Franschoek for lunch on Sunday. Was so beautiful, the country side. And it was gorgeous sunny weather with a slight breeze. My sister and I capturing the unique wall paper and interior of the bathrooms.. random but having our bathrooms renovated at the moment so have taken quite an interest.

Bit of an exchange.. party cup of juice for Champagne with Cassis.

Champagne with Cassis and Blue Berries. Perfect.

Picnic style lunch. Lamb and beef cuttings, pink in the middle and oh so tender, spicy chicken strips, brie and camonbert cheese, greek salad, french baguette, smoked salmon paté, dips and some other mouth watering assortments.

Dark Lindt Balls on the rocks. Haha.

Chocolate brownie/cake squares with edible gold dust

Fairy Cup Cakes. Always a have to.

So my parents decided to stop and have a sleep under a tree before heading back to Cape Town so my two siblings and I climbed trees Mowgli style, and skipped through the Asain Lillies, under the setting of mountains, vinyards and the Summer sun.

No seriously, the literally slept under a tree.. My mom even whipped out her yoga mat from the boot. Haha , gotta love them.

After a long afternoon, we got home and I got ready for a French request casting for a shoot. Went pretty well and saw a few people I know so had a catch up whilst waiting. Courts and I then went out to a few places in Hout Bay with some friends for drinks. After getting home, I was so tired from the eventful day and was so happy to see dinner. Sushi, home made pizza and some herb tea to wash it down.

So anyways have quite a list of things so far to look forward to:

Tuesday: Break up day! Then birthday get together for Franziska (exchange student from Germany). Drinks with friends after.

Wednesday: End of the year Bloggers Get Together and Casablanca after.

Thursday: Buy Surf board and then beach?

Friday: Assembly and Zula Bar to see the Plastics.

Satuday: Shopping :) Friends farewell braai

Sunday: Surf in the morning and Camps Bay at night (Karma, Caprice, St, Yves)

And there still things to pop up.. busy busy.. I like.
