Morning World

It has come to my attention that I STILL have not fixed my camera :( -thats why my posts have been limited/bad quality/webcam. Anyways, bought a new bikini yesterday and couldn't resist but try it on again this morning. It's so damn nice - simple, black with ruffled detail. Want to the beach this weekend to wear it! (better try fit a gym sesh in before I do though :0) Studying.. boredom.. = food. haha. Trying to stay away from wheat though, cause I'm sure I have some Italian blood somewhere along the line.. I'm pasta crazy - basically carbs crazy.

Golden Heights

On Saturday I did a small shoot for Clare Robertson for her photography project for varsity. The heading was high fashion and this is just a preview of whats coming up. We woke super early (after a rough night. grr) and got straight into it, with Cleo Marco (my sister) doing the make up and styling. We shot in the most perfect area.. We shot two outfits - this being the first one. Was so fun!

Jersey Girl

Today was the second day of my holiday and so far it's been great. Casablanca was so fun last night, met some crazy people. I bought this knit jersey type cardigan the other day and wore it for the first time today.. been looking for something like that for ages and absolutely am inlove. haha. I also bought a plain gold band bangle from a man in Hout Bay that hand makes and sells them, really a classic buy. And being a pro bargainer I bought it for.. R20! Better believe it. So tomorrow I'm thinking, run in the moring, casting in town early afternoon after I get my report (oh gosh), then waterfront with a friend, maybe some lunch and then at night maybe assembly and then Zula Bar to see the Plastics play. Don't forget it's Puza Thursday today, so enjoy it, with no regrets hopefully. Mowgli out. x

The Forest were Youthful Spirits run Free

Today was my second off day, as I didn't write exams. Sounds all too good, but spent a tedious amount of time studying for the 5 other exams I have left. Studying calls for study group, which as usual calls for Phil. Went over to her at about 2, and did various things (2 minute noodles in a cup, photos, chocolate mission, tractor in a small concealed forest down the road) oh.. and some studying of course. haha :) Was nice to get away from the racket of renovations in my house, piles of books and papers, and monotony. I wore my new floral romper, peach sandals and black chunky sling. Here's some pics of what we got up to.. just messing around really..

My New Babies!!

Evening blog :)

I had a feeling this weekend was going to be great - positive energy chaneling! haha. So it didn't start off quite as planned, was in the most comfortable and deep sleep saturday morning when my 5 year old brother jumped on me. I was officially awake. He dragged me to the kitchen to make him breakfast so decided to have an earlyish morning. Had papaya, flapjacks and coffee for breakfast - name me a better breakfast, really. Then, I remembered about my beauties I bought on Firday!! I bought a pair of vintagey, brown lace up boots from Zoom in Waterfront :) I love them so much and have wanted something like that for long. So I'd consider that a good start to a day.

Later, Phil, Courts and I took a drive up to Camps Bay in Courts' dads Jeep Rangler - so gorgeous. We had lunch at Codfather - half price sushi and drinks at Dizzy's and just met up with lots of people. I must say Camps Bay is a really nice, vibey place for all kinds of ocassions.

Sunday we went to some family friends house in Bantry Bay. Had delicious lunch, and had a good old Sunday just chilling out before the start of school.
